The centre of power

Singapore Airshow 2010 attracted the largest number of high-level foreign dignitaries from around the world. The number of foreign delegations grew from 240 from 61 countries in 2008 to 259 government and international delegations from 80 countries in 2010.

 

Among the visiting aviation industry leaders were 27 airlines CEOs as well as the heads of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO).

Singapore Airshow 2010 Achievements

The following statistics speak of the lucrative opportunities that await aviation’s finest at the Singapore Airshow:

  • 43,459 trade attendees from 133 countries

  • Defence organisations form 55% of the participants while civil aviation companies account for the other 45%
